Everyone knows that Android 5.1 was launched with Android One devices. There is a rumor that Nexus devices will be getting Android 5.1 this week. Now Android 5.1 was spotted in Moto G XT1033. Google Plus user Damian Junior posted some photos of a 1st gen Moto G running Android 5.1.0 Lollipop. He says he received the photos from a friend working for Motorola, also adding that, according to his friend, the update is bugs-free and that all the Moto G “superior phones” will get updated to Android 5.1.

So far there the no news about rolling OTA for Moto X devices. Motorola confirming that delay is caused by the architecture of the chipset underpinning the device. Chances are Moto X 2013 could skip Android 5.0 and get updated straight to Android 5.1 Lollipop.
